Revora — Reviving Reservoirs
Revora Petroleum is a lean, technically driven operator focused on acquiring, reactivating and managing underutilised oil and gas assets — turning proven reservoirs back into steady, well-run production.
The Company
Revora Petroleum exists to do one thing well: find good rock that has been left behind, and put it back to work.
Wells are shut in or left underperforming for all kinds of reasons — a mechanical problem, a lift change, a workover nobody funded, or simply a portfolio that moved on. The reservoir is often still capable. What is usually missing is focused attention and the right technical judgement.
Revora is structured around exactly that: a small, disciplined operating team, strong subsurface capability, and a low overhead base so that capital goes into wells, equipment and production rather than corporate structure.
We buy on the merits of the rock and the cost to restore it, never on a story.
Every asset is evaluated by petroleum engineers, geologists and reservoir specialists before a dollar is committed.
We run what we buy — accountable for uptime, safety, compliance and cost per barrel.
What We Do
Three connected capabilities that take an overlooked asset from an opportunity on paper to a producing, cash-generating well.
We identify and acquire mature, shut-in or underperforming wells and leases that larger operators have set aside and smaller ones cannot properly evaluate — screening each for remaining reserves, restoration cost and operating economics.
Our technical team designs the intervention: workovers, downhole repairs, artificial lift selection and optimisation, and the equipment programme needed to bring the well safely back onto production.
Once flowing, wells are actively managed — surveillance, maintenance, lift optimisation, regulatory compliance and cost control — to protect uptime and extend productive life.
Our Approach
The same disciplined sequence is applied to every asset, so results come from process rather than luck.
Screen mature fields and shut-in wells for remaining potential others have passed over.
Enter at a cost that leaves room for restoration spend and a sound return.
Reservoir, production and facilities engineering define exactly what the well needs.
Execute the workover and equipment programme with trusted field service partners.
Restore flow, stabilise the well and optimise lift for consistent output.
Operate for uptime and margin, then reinvest to add the next asset.
The Opportunity
Large operators often cannot justify the overhead of smaller mature wells. Smaller operators frequently cannot afford the technical expertise required to evaluate them properly. That gap is where a lean, agile operator creates value.
Why wells get left behind
Operating Model
Rather than carrying a large corporate payroll, Revora pairs a focused US operating base with specialist technical and administrative capability — directing more capital toward wells and production.
US operating base — relationships, acquisitions, field activity, regulatory and day-to-day well management.
Petroleum engineers, geologists, geoscientists and reservoir specialists evaluating and designing every intervention.
Accounting, bookkeeping, reporting and back-office functions delivered efficiently and at low cost.
How We Work
Work is planned and executed to meet regulatory and environmental obligations, without shortcuts.
Decisions follow the data — production history, reservoir behaviour and well condition.
Spend is directed at activity that produces barrels, not at overhead.
Reactivating existing wells extends the life of assets already drilled and already in place.
